Projects

I have done countless projects over the years, mainly for personal use. Some of them are made publically available for free. Over the past few years I have shifted more into projects for professional use. Below are some of both categories.

Live VR-stream from the DaVinci Xi© surgical robot

I made a system to stream live video from the DaVinci Xi© surgical robot to any type of VR-goggles. The video feed is in side-by-side VR which gives you an excellent view with 3D. It can stream over the internet or in a local closed WiFi-network for privacy reasons. It is used for courses in Robotic Surgery and for education of professionals. Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with or employed by Intuitive Surgical Inc ©, nor did I ever receive economic compensation by them for this project. It is not publically available.

3D-printed accessories for the DaVinci Xi © console

I have designed several accessories for the DaVinci Xi © surgical console. The product featured in the image is a side-table with a custom engraved logo. The prototypes are currently undergoing trials and might be available for purchase once this process is complete.

Simulator Button Box

Button Box for simulators. It has a range of buttons, switches, rotary encoders and potmeters for use with flight simulators, racing simulators etc. It is recognized by Windows as a joystick controller and does not need drivers to run. Plug and play! This project is publically available at Thingiverse.com

Joystick controlled camera gimbal

I made this to control a handheld thermal camera with a joystick. It is powered by a standard 5V powerbank through a USB-C cable and utilizes a PlayStation-type joystick to control the camera . It has both a pan and tilt function. The gimbal has a standard camera mount bolt which makes it compatible with a range of different cameras. This project is not publically available but you can contact me for details.

FPV-Drone ground station

This is a ground station for Long Range (LR) drones/planes. It has a very long range reception of video and an even longer range for radio control. The video feed is transmitted wirelessly to FPV-goggles. This project is publically available at Thingiverse.com
