MeshCore repeater
A small, low-power radio at home that forwards text messages in the MeshCore off-grid network – no mobile coverage or internet needed.

MeshCore is an off-grid messaging network built from small, inexpensive radios. Pair a pocket-sized radio with your phone, and you can send text messages to other users without mobile coverage, internet or any cloud service. Messages hop from radio to radio, so the network reaches far beyond a single device.
Repeaters are the backbone: fixed radios that forward messages for everyone nearby. Every new repeater makes the network stronger and helps it reach further.
My repeater runs around the clock at home and fills in the network in my area. It uses the same hardware as Jon Erik Andersen’s, and the setup is a collaboration with him – his post MeshCore i Sør-Norge (in Norwegian) is a great introduction.
For now it is a test of reach and traffic, before it gets a permanent home.
