Water temperature monitor
Live water temperature readings from our local pier, published online and available as a phone app.

I built this system to publish live water temperature readings from our local pier. A transmitter on the pier, powered by a small solar panel and a battery, sends the measurements wirelessly to a receiver at another location.
The receiver is connected to the internet and publishes the readings to a website that can be installed on a phone as an app for quick access. It shows the current temperature together with graphs and statistics for the last days.
Adaptable by design
The system can be adapted to almost any sensor, measure almost anything, and publish the data almost anywhere. See it in action at www.aashansen.no/vallo.
Custom versions can be built on request, on agreed terms. Please use the contact form for enquiries.
